Faithful means remaining loyal and stedfast. It means true to the facts or the original. Who is a Priest? A Priest is a religious leader authorised to perform the sacred rituals of a religion. The functions of a Christian Priest are administering Baptism, Holy Communion, Marriage and Anointing the sick etc.

GOD's WORD: Sermon verse: 1. Samuel 2:35 " And I will raise me a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed forever".

The LORD God of Israel said these words of Prophesy. This prophecy contains four elements or components: 1. Faithful Priest, 2. He shall do God's will, 3. The LORD will build a sure House, 4. He shall walk before the Anointed.

1. A FAITHFUL PRIEST: Faithfulness is the requirement in God's divine service. Samuel was a established Prophet of God. His words were true according to the LORD. The Bible tells us that Jesus is our merciful and faithful High Priest. He is interceding in Heaven for us with the Father God. "... that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people" (Hebrews 2:17). As a faithful High Priest, He possessed five character traits:

1. Holy,
2. Blameless,
3. Undefiled,
4. Separate from sinners and
5. Made higher than the heavens.

Thank You Lord Jesus, praise You Jesus. Let me have these five character traits for leadership roles. Apostle Paul said: " And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry". 1. Timothy 1:12. Apostle Paul was a faithful Minister of God.

2. HE SHALL DO ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL: God's will is in God's Heart and Mind. We need to understand what is in His ❤heart. David had served God in his own generation by the will of God.

Psalm 40:8 says:" I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart".

Jesus our High Priest did the will of God. He delighted in it. We need to do a reasonable service. Fulfilling God's will is our top most priority in life.

3. THE LORD WILL BUILD A SURE HOUSE: The LORD builds the 🏠 House. And also He will build a sure good house for you, do not worry. Are you behaving like an orphan staying in another person's house? The LORD is going to build a own 🏠House for you. He cares for you.

God sets the solitary in families. He builds house for a single person and makes him fruitful and productive. " I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Ps. 122:1.

The LORD Jesus said:"... upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it"( Matt. 16:18). The House of the LORD represents the ⛪Church. Jesus is the Builder and Foundation of the Church. This is the sure House.

4. HE SHALL WALK BEFORE THE ANOINTED: Anointing is applying 🛢️oil on God's Minister. Anointed person does good for needy people. Anointed servant of God casts out 😈devils. " Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah"(1.Samuel 16:13).

Our Lord Jesus was anointed with power and Holy Spirit. He walked as the anointed of the LORD. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Christ means: " The Anointed". Let us follow His footsteps to have this kind of anointing.

PRAYER: " Our 💕Dear Father, the LORD God of Israel, we bow before Your presence in our midst. Thank You LORD for 1. Samuel 2:35:Please, LORD God, raise me up as a faithful minister of the good news. Help us to fulfill Your will in our life time. I praise You Lord Jesus for Your promise of Building a sure House and A Good Church. Anoint us LORD Jesus with the power of the Holy Spirit. LORD, strengthen us. In Jesus precious Name, I ask and pray. Amen.
