Dearly beloved saints of the Lord Jesus Christ, Happy, Prosperous and Victorious New Year 2016. Peace be unto you and grow in the grace and the knowledge of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ. This year will be the Year of Transfiguration, Year of Prosperity and the Year of God’s Great Commission. Let us meditate on the Prophecy from Revelation 21:5

“And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful”( Revelation 21:5).

Behold, I make all things new. This is the word for this year. This year 2016 is s new year, it never existed before, therefore it is new. Similarly, God always creates new things as He created the Heaven and the Earth and the waters and the fullness thereof. God created the first man Adam and the First woman Eve, in His image and Likeness. They had the moral likeness of God. They were created in super intelligence. Adam named every animal and vegetables, trees and other species. But sin and death reigned in the old creation. Therefore, God wanted to make a new creation. This newness is in terms of renewal and restoration. God is like a potter. He first created a vessel. But that vessel was spoiled in His Hands. Therefore, the Potter created a new vessel according to the plan He had in His Mind. We are the clay. God is the Potter. He is moulding, shaping and creating us into a new vessel.

The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. (Jere.18:1-6).

1. A New Creation

This prophecy is about New Creation realities. Pas. Kenneth E. Hagin said: “ I am a spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body”. This principle is true according to 1 Thessalonians 5:23.Man is three dimensional being. Our body is made of clay. But our soul and spirit have divine origin and divine nature. This is well understood from Genesis 2:7. Our outward man is perishing, but our inward man is being renewed day by day. That is what happens when we become New Creatures in Christ Jesus.

King James 2000 Bible And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Jubilee Bible 2000 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Combining these three verses, we come to an understanding about being becoming new creation. When you believe Jesus in your heart that God raised him from dead and confess Jesus is Lord, God imparts His divine life into your spirit- zoe= the life of God, you are born again and become a new creation in Christ.

As a born again child of God, you have love of God in your heart, you are able to love all people. And you walk in the righteousness of God and you are the righteousness of God in Him and you do good to others. God’s divine nature is in you. You have become the partaker of God’s divine nature and divine power, because of this New nature.

American King James version: 3According as his divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue: 4Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2. Peter 1:3,4

We are not denominational people. We are God’s sons and daughters. Old things have passed away. All things become new. You have new nature, new power, new mind, new spirit and new life.

2. A New Covenant:

Hebrews Chapter 88 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

• i will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts
• we are the people of God
• all shall know the Lord from the least to the greatest
• God is merciful to your unrighteousness
• God remembers your sins and iniquities no more.

Covenant is agreement with God. The word of God is written in our hearts through the Spirit of God. Our sins and transgressions are forgiven. We praise God’s mercy and have become the righteousness of God. This are the feature of New Covenant, and it is not like the old covenant. New Covenant makes new type of people of God. Old covenant was made with the people of Israel and new covenant is made with the born again children of God. This is what will happen in 2016. Many will become sons and daughters of God. Jesus initiated this new covenant. He said: son, your sins are forgiven, take up your bed and walk. He said, he who humbles himself will be made righteous. The Word says, the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. The people of the world will know the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.(Matt.26).

3. A New Commandment:

34 kA new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 lBy this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

You love one another. This is the proof that we are the disciples of Jesus. All the disciple of Jesus should love, honour and respect one another. They should not have competition, jealousy and backbiting among themselves. They have the new nature, therefore, they should love, help, pray for one another. This is the divine nature. Love covers multitude of sins. They should not betray one another.

New kind of love was brought to the world by Jesus. When we are born again we are born in love. God is love, therefore the new birth is the impartation of this love. It is a love family. The love of God has been flooded in our hearts. This love nature must be developed.This love makes us like Jesus. Jesus said; Father, forgive them, for they do know what they do. Love forgives and forgets and remembers no more. The year 2016 is going to be a year of Divine love, A divine covenant and Divine New Creatures. God bless you.
